考研英语写作小作文之辞职信

在考研英语的Part A 小作文部分，书信作为考查的重点所在，种类繁多。在前面我们曾就以题目为例，详细地解析过前十一种书信：即建议信、投诉信、咨询信、感谢信、祝贺信、道歉信、慰问信、申请信、求职信、推荐信、介绍信的写作方法及其注意事项。今天本文就对考研英语小作文中的第十二种书信辞职信进行深入的分析。

辞职信，英文中称为letter of resignation，是向自己上司或工作单位辞去工作时所写的信件。书写辞职信是务必要注意态度恳切得当、措辞委婉含蓄。

一般来说，在考研英语中，辞职信主体部分的写作可按照三个步骤进行，即三步走策略。接下来就以题目为例，具体解析一下这个策略。

例题：

Directions：

Two months ago you got a job as an editor for the magazine Designs Fashions. But now you find that the work is not what you expected. You decide to quit. Write a letter to your boss, Mr. Wang, telling him your decision, stating your reason(s), and making an apology.

题目所给的规定情景是两个月前你在《设计与时尚》杂志得到了一分编辑的工作，但是现在却发现工作不适合自己，因此决定辞职。要求你向老板王先生写一封信，告诉他你决定辞职并说明原因以及做出道歉。

根据上面所提的辞职信写作三步走策略，具体操作如下：

首段：I am writing this letter to apologize that I plan to quit the position as an editor of your magazine for the reason of myself.

在辞职信中，三步走策略中的第一步是要表明写信目的，即提出辞职。用到的英语句型自然是应该更为委婉的。此外，还须在后面简要陈述原因。

中段：During the span of working here, I have been deeply impressed by the kindness and diligence of all colleagues. But meanwhile I have come to realize that the job probably is not suitable for me because I want a more peaceful and slow life. I find that I am not able to devote all my efforts to a job which I do not really like.

在辞职信中，表明了目的之后，接下来第二段的主要内容就是向对方解释具体原因了。但是在解释原因之前，为礼貌委婉起见我们还须对一直以来的工作表示肯定与表扬，以更能获得对方的理解。

尾段：So I am awfully sorry to tell you my decision to quit. Please accept my apology.

本段中，紧接前面内容，解释完原因后，重申自己的写信目的。其次，自己辞职给公司带来了不便，因此按照题目要求还须进行道歉，期待对方的原谅。

在考研英语的书信表达中，类似的首段或尾段的套用句式比较丰富，大家需要在复习过程中进行有意的积累，并在写作中加以运用：
