考研英语长难句解析之It形式主语句型

考研英语中出现的主语从句，通常以It 作形式主语置于句首，而that引导的真正的主语从句置于句末。下面就以真题为例句，解析这种句型的阅读技巧。

1. Is it true that the American intellectual is rejected and considered of no account in his society? (2006年翻译上下文)

这是一般疑问句，用it作形式主语，that 引导的从句是真正的主语，从句中用and并列谓语，且都用被动语态。整句可以翻译为：在他们所在的社会中，美国知识分子遭到拒绝，并且不受重视，这是真的吗?

2.Surely it should be obvious to the dimmest executive that trust, that most valuable of economic assets, is easily destroyed and hugely expensive to restoreand that few things are more likely to destroy trust than a company letting sensitive personal data get into the wrong hands. (2007年Text4)
