考研英语二阅读真题难点分析之主旨题

学会了识别方法之后，下面我们来看这道主旨题的解题思路，主旨题，顾名思义，答案是让同学们去找这篇文章的主旨是什么，主旨句在哪儿。考研英语真题中的阅读文章大都是选自西方核心期刊的议论文。议论文一般会包括论点和论据。中西方思维的差异决定着，大多数的英语人写议论文首先会在文章前几段亮明其观点。而这篇文章我们看其手段是描述的意见过去发生的事情，这是一种惯常的议论文写作手法，即用过去的事情引出现在的情况，这个被引出的现在情况一般就是这篇议论文的论点所在。所以我们再看这篇文章的二段首句就是紧跟着前面过去的事情被引出的现在的情况。这句话的意思主要是说：美国的男性在公共场合谈论的比女性更多，而在家里却比女性谈论的更少。因此，这篇文章的主旨应该是指男女说话模式的在不同的场合不一样。答案应该选D。
