考研英语作文批改实例：小作文之建议信（1）

建议信是就某个或某些问题，向有关个人、部门、机构提出合理性建议的信件。在英语一近11年的真题中，建议信分别在2007年、2009年、2012年和2014年考过，因此是小作文的重点备考内容。下面就2007年真题中考查的建议信进行批改，目的是希望各位同学引以为鉴。

题目要求如下：

51. Directions：

Write a letter to your university library, making suggestions for improving its service.

You should write about 100 words on ANSWER SHEET 2.

Do not sign your own name at the end of the letter. Use Li Ming instead.

Do not write the address. (10 points)

可以看出，该建议信要求给大学的图书馆写信，建议他们如何提高服务质量。

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am a student in this university who is taking charge of Student Unite Association. Generally speaking, the service that you offered in the library are quite good; however, I have some suggestions for you.

Firstly, it would be greatly appreciated if you could offer the consultation service to use, because it is always making us more quickly if we need find a book. Furthermore, an electronic reading room are both necessary to our study. So it is advisable for you to construction an electronic reading room.

I really hope my suggestions would attract you due attention and receive an early replay. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

该作文格式正确，能够正确使用礼貌性表达，基本覆盖所有要求的信息点：表示相关，表明目的;具体建议，附件原因;表示期待，表达感谢。不足之处是，字数略超，存在一些语言错误，如：

1)Student Unite Association应改为Students Union，这是学生会的惯用法。

2)the service that you offered in the library are quite good应改为the service that you offer in the library are quite good，这里的offer应该使用一般现在时。

3)the consultation service to use应改为a consultation service，该名词第一次出现用不定冠词a即可。

4)because it is always making us more quickly if we need find a book应改为because it always makes us to find a book more quickly.原句表意不明。应该使用make sb. to do sth.的结构。

5)an electronic reading room are both necessary to our study应改为an electronic reading room is necessary to our study。这句应该注意主谓一致。

6)So it is advisable for you to construction an electronic reading room.应改为So it is advisable for you to build up an electronic reading room. 这句应该使用it is advisable for you to do sth.的句型。
